Oktoberfest at Elmar’s in the Valley

Elmars in the Valley

Oktoberfest is a well celebrated Bavarian tradition that is the world’s largest beer festival and travelling fair held in Munich Germany. It is a 16 to 18-day folk festival running from mid or late September to the first weekend in October, with more than 6 million people from around the world attending the event every year.

Elmar’s in the Valley have adopted this annual tradition hosting a more intimate crowd of 2000+ guests in our Australian style backyard with our German flair and influence. It is a day filled with live music, steins and plenty of outdoor fun! It is the perfect opportunity to sit back, relax and enjoy Germany’s biggest festival in the Swan Valley’s largest 2 acre Biergarten.

There are many traditional German foods available for purchase on the day that include Elmar’s famous Schweinshaxe (pickled and roasted pork shank); Bratwurst (German sausages) in our huge heavy cast iron frypan on the BBQ outside with many other delights available for purchase.

The most common beer consumed on this day is the long anticipated Märzen (Oktoberfest Bier) which conditions in March and is ready in time for the festival of the year!

This year we are going BIG! More bars, more entertainment and more FUN!!! For the past three years, it has been a sold-out event. Visit the Elmar's in the Valley website for more information.
